We’re so excited to bring you our 4-week Chair Dance course with head Chromie Leah Rose at CRPD Newport. After hearing all the amazing feedback from our previous choreography courses, we wanted to create something equally fun, empowering, and just a little bit sexy – and the chair adds a whole new level of flair!

Course Details

Starting Sunday 28th Sept, running for 4 weeks

6:30pm – 8pm (first Sunday 6:30pm-7pm)

What’s Included

 

​Weeks 1-3: Step by step, we’ll build your full chair routine – even if you’ve never danced with a chair before, Leah will give you all the tips and techniques to make you look a natural.

​

Week 4: A full performance run-through with hair, makeup, costumes, and a video filmed on your phone by Leah to capture your progress. Trust us, you’ll want to watch it again and again!

 

Extra Practice: Weeks 2-4 start with an hour to recap and practice last week’s moves in a relaxed, supportive space – where Leah will be on hand to help you get comfortable and perfect your routine.
 

Important Details

📅 Attendance at all 4 weeks is essential to take part in the final performance.
💡 This is a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone. Progressions and regressions can be given so that you'll have a routine you're capable of, regardless of ability. There is no pole, and heels or barefoot - it's up to you.

Own Your Moment

​

In the final week, you’ll perform the full routine by yourself, complete with lighting and filmed on your phone by the CRPD instructors in a polished dynamic, to create a stunning keepsake video. It’s your time to celebrate your journey, own your movement, and connect with an incredible group of like-minded Chromies.

  • Dates: Sundays, 6:30pm, starting 28th Sept for 4 weeks

  • Location: CRPD Cardiff

  • Price: £79 for the entire 4-week course. 10% off for members.

    • What’s included in the price: 3 hours instructed choreo, 3 assisted practice sessions, the loan of a chair, a recorded version to follow along and practice at home! And a gorgeous filmed routine filmed on your phone.
