  • Covid-19 | Chrome Roses Pole Da

Covid-19 Policy Student Guidelines Updated 23/08/2021 We are so excited to be running studio classes again. However, as we're sure you understand; we are opening under strict government guidelines which are constantly changing, so all studio classes will have student/instructor requirements for safety, and new protocols. Do not come to class if you feel unwell and have any of the COVID-19 Symptoms. You risk being turned away from class. Students and instructors are reminded of the importance of personal hygiene and encourage students to sanitise their hands prior to entering CRPD and in between classes. Sanitiser will be to the inside of the main building front door and outside of the studio door. Hand washing facilities are available in the toilet facilities. As social distancing rules have been relaxed, class capacity is returning to pre pandemic level of 10 students per class (2 per pole). This means that you will not always be able to keep a 2 meter distance from someone else so please be mindful of this when booking. Private/semi private lessons are available for those still wanting to practice social distancing. Classes will include spotting. All instructors are highly trained in safe and effective spotting techniques and will wear a mask when spotting students at students request. If you are not comfortable with being spotted you must let your instructor know at the start of class. This may result in you being given a regression of the move being taught to ensure your safety. Bringing your own mat will always be the more hygienic option, so we encourage you to continue to use your own if you prefer. However if you would like to use the studio mats, we kindly ask that you wipe down the mat with the available sprays at the end of your class. For now, You must bring your own pole towel to clean the pole in between use. The studio floor and "touch spots" will be cleaned in between each class so please do not enter until told to do so by your instructor. If you have arrived back to the UK from a zone which require self-isolating, you MUST NOT come to the studio. Please respect government guidelines. Any cancellations made due to isolating are still subject to the 24 hour cancellation notice. Chrome Roses Pole Dance Coronavirus Health Policy. 10/07/2020 CRPD take all staff and customers health and wellbeing seriously and have taken action to inform and advise any member of updated guidelines to the current health situation. All information below has been taken from our current policies and the Government Public Health advisory. Please read carefully and fully understand the information below. What is the Coronavirus? A coronavirus is a type of virus. As a group, coronaviruses are common across the world. COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus first identified in Wuhan City, China in January 2020. Signs and Symptoms The following symptoms may develop in the 14 days after exposure to someone who has COVID-19 infection: cough, difficulty in breathing, fever Generally, these infections can cause more severe symptoms in people with weakened immune systems, older people, and those with long-term conditions like diabetes, cancer and chronic lung disease. How Covid-19 is spread? From what we know about other coronaviruses, spread of COVID-19 is most likely to happen when there is close contact (within 2 metres or less) with an infected person. It is likely that the risk increases the longer someone has close contact with an infected person. Respiratory secretions produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes containing the virus are most likely to be the main means of transmission. There are 2 main routes by which people can spread COVID-19: infection can be spread to people who are nearby (within 2 metres) or possibly could be inhaled into the lungs. it is also possible that someone may become infected by touching a surface, object or the hand of an infected person that has been contaminated with respiratory secretions and then touching their own mouth, nose, or eyes (such as touching door knob or shaking hands then touching own face) If you have travelled from over seas please follow the government advise below. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-specified-countries-and-areas/covid-19-specified-countries-and-areas-with-implications-for-returning-travellers-or-visitors-arriving-in-the-uk which is being updated on an ongoing basis. Health Advice within the workplace There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, CRPD always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including: Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. Wearing a mask if social distancing is not possible is now a personal choice as per government guidelines. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty. CRPD will be supplying hand sanitiser. Hand wash will be available in the Meanwhile House facilities.
